Industry's Turn: Applying CPS Research Learnings to Your Business

Fresh produce industry, it’s your turn to weigh in on the future of fresh produce food-safety research. New this year, Center for Produce Safety’s Research Symposium will feature daily discussion sessions to engage industry attendees in-depth about CPS research findings: What they mean to you, and what you need to apply what you’ve learned to your business. That feedback will inform how CPS transfers this year’s Research Symposium key learnings to the industry at large – and will guide future CPS research priorities.

These discussion sessions are designed for growers to processors, owners to food safety professionals, and everyone else across the fresh produce supply chain. Discussions will be facilitated by your peers and CPS volunteer leaders.

“CPS’s everlasting goal is to bridge the gap between our research and application of that research on the farm or in the facility. This year we’re going to try something new, by leading our audience of industry experts through a whole new process to engage them about specific research findings. Then we are going to capture those conversations to create the most useful key learnings and comprehensive knowledge transfer to industry we’ve ever produced.”
