Last Thursday during the Thanksgiving Chapel, seven students were recognized as Core Values honorees. Each quarter the school will celebrate one winner in the Upper School from each of the five core values and two winners from any of the core values in the Middle School. Front row: Middle School awardees: Faith – Grace Johnson, and Service – Landry Evans. Back row, Upper School awardees: Community – Simone Tyson, Integrity – Ellie Stout, Faith – Caleb Centreras, Leadership – Cameron Gross, and Service – Rodney White.
Many thanks to Sammies Trattoria II who provided gift certificates to all the awardees. Sammies Trattoria is an Italian restaurant located in Hunt Valley Town Centre.

Advent/Christmas Devotional
In the song “Joy to the World” we sing “Let every heart prepare Him room.” The season of Advent begins this weekend and runs through December 24. Advent is from the Latin word for “coming” and describes the coming of Jesus in the flesh.
To help us prepare for Christmas, we have daily audio devotions that you can listen to while you are on the go! They come from a new book entitled “O Come O Come Emmanuel” written by Tom Couser (Pastor Couser’s father). The devotions are available every day from December 1 - January 6 (at the end of the 12 days of Christmas).
The devotions can be found at this link.
