Corvallis Community Celebrates Under the Lights

On April 10th, the community gathered at Crescent Valley High School for a tailgate-style celebration to mark a historic milestone: the first CV baseball league home opener played "under the lights."

This event celebrated the significant investment in our students through the installation of field lighting at Crescent Valley baseball and softball fields, as well as Corvallis High School softball fields.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Tim and Allison Sissel for their transformative gift which will provide safe, competitive, and equitable opportunities for all students. Their leadership and generosity is truly inspirational. We are honored to partner with the Sissel family on this investment, which will benefit our students today, and for generations to come.

Thanks to the Corvallis Green Fund, last week we presented our first-ever Green Apple Award to Charlyn Ellis, Language Arts teacher and Green Club Advisor at Corvallis High School!

Congratulations, Charlyn! Stay tuned to read more about her story in the coming months.
