Cheers to Educators!

We had a wonderful time at Benton County Museums MUSE: Cheers to Educators! event last month, celebrating the dedicated teachers and school staff who make a lasting impact on students throughout our community.

Now through August, we invite you to visit the Corvallis Museum and leave a note of appreciation for an educator who has made a difference in your life. These messages will be displayed at the Corvallis School District's Back-to-School Rally in August.

Join us in filling the appreciation arch with messages of gratitude and encouragement for the educators who help our community thrive.

For $250, your business can sponsor an Educator Grant that provides a staff member with additional resources for their classroom or program.

Creating Space for Every Student to Succeed

An IMAGINE Grant developed by Cheldelin Middle School Dean of Students Bernadette Lastoria is helping students build self-regulation, confidence, and practical life skills through engaging, hands-on activities.

The grant funded a variety of tools designed to support student well-being and positive engagement, including movement-based equipment like an exercise bike and weightlifting bench, as well as plant-building kits, a guitar for musical exploration, and bike repair supplies. These resources give students healthy outlets to regulate emotions, develop new skills, and build confidence.

As students transition to Corvallis Junior High, these materials will continue supporting their growth, extending the impact of this innovative project for years to come.

Summer Programs- Impact in Action

Summer Programs are well underway, providing students with critical opportunities to earn credits, address academic gaps, and build the skills they need to stay on track for graduation.

These programs are only possible because of the generosity of our sponsors and donors. Throughout the summer, they've had the opportunity to see their support in action through tours of the Summer Credit Recovery, Bridges, and Urban Farm programs.
