CHS Class of ’79 Builds a Legacy for Corvallis Students

The Corvallis High School Class of 1979 is creating a lasting legacy for future students at CHS. Inspired by the impact Corvallis High School had on their life, alumni Tim Slotta and Katherine Berry partnered with classmates to create the CHS Class of ’79 Spartan Fund through the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation.

The endowed fund will support programs and opportunities for CHS students for generations to come. Read how the idea came together and how the CHS Class of ’79 plans to present the fund during their 50th high school reunion celebration in 2029.

A New Chick Inn: Hands-On Learning Takes Flight at CHHS

We are excited to share our first IMAGINE Grant highlight from the 2025–2026 cycle: College Hill High School’s “A New Chick Inn” project!

This hands-on collaboration between the Construction Program and Urban Farm students will bring a brand-new hen house to life, giving students the opportunity to build practical skills while creating a better home for their feathered friends. We can’t wait to see the finished project!

Stop by the Farm Stand at College Hill High School every Friday from 10–11:30 a.m. to purchase fresh eggs from some very happy hens that just got a new home.
