Each year, we set aside a special day to honor grandparents. Grandparents are invited to school to enjoy chapel, activities, and lunch with their grandchildren. We feel this is an exciting and valuable time for both grandparents and grandchildren and is a nice way to honor the special relationship they enjoy.
If your children’s grandparents are not living or unable to attend, you may invite another relative or close friend to attend with your children that day. Also, this day can be difficult for some who have recently lost a grandparent, among other various reasons. Under those circumstances, students will not be counted absent if they choose not to attend.
Students will be able to leave with their grandparents after lunch.
