As 2024 comes to a close, the California Retailers Association team reflects on another year of great success in our advocacy efforts, which included historic change for the retail industry with the passage of an 11-bill Retail Theft package that contains effective and targeted laws to combat Retail Theft and bring much-needed relief for our stores, customers and the communities we serve. This end of year report provides highlights of key milestones we achieved together.
As we look to the coming year, the CRA is committed to advocating for the interests of California retailers. We remain dedicated to fostering an environment where retailers can grow and succeed, providing valuable insights, resources and advocacy to help our members navigate the dynamic and ever-changing legislative and regulatory landscape in California, the fifth largest economy in the world.
