Where can I go to develop new skills to find a great job?
While you remain at home and find ways to keep yourself busy, now is the perfect time to boost your skill set to increase your chances of finding employment or improve your prospects for promotion. If you have identified a skill gap during your job search, or you’re focused on a different career path, take this opportunity to fill these skill gaps through online learning . By taking a course, you will not only build your portfolio of skills, but also add structure to your day.

Identifying Skill Gaps
One efficient way to identify these gaps is to analyze job postings and compare your experience to the job requirements and qualifications. Is this a skill you have, one that you have used but need to improve, or one that you need to learn? If you can’t identify a specific area, then consider courses that focus on transferable skills such as learning how to improve your management, computer or video interviewing skills.

Where to Find Online Courses
Regardless of what you decide to learn, there is probably a course for you. In fact, there are many free online courses ranging from MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) to free Microsoft training and tutorials Below are two articles that provide information on more sites that offer online courses. Be sure to check them out! Sign up! You’ll be glad you did!
