Hi CRC/AC Community!

Santa Clara County recently announced a move into the Red Tier of the State of California's Blueprint for a Safer Economy. This email contains important information regarding changes at the Centennial Recreation Center (CRC) effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021!

Change Effective Wednesday, March 3, 2021

  • Outdoor group exercise class participants and outdoor cardio users may remove their face coverings when they are on their individual mats or equipment and their heart rate is elevated.
Changes Effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021
  • Free weights and Cybex will be moved indoors on the West side of the gymnasium.
  • Group Exercise classes will remain outside except for mind-body classes (yoga, pilates, and core classes). Mind-body classes will be held inside the group exercise studio.
  • Some cardio equipment will be moved inside but we will still have an option for you to use cardio equipment outside on the pool deck.
  • Youth ages 10-11 are now allowed to workout with parent/guardian supervision.
  • Buddy/Partner workouts are now allowed with proper social distancing.
  • All indoor areas and programs will require 100% masking.
  • Indoor capacity is limited to 10% in the Red Tier. Reservations are required to keep facility at capacity limits.
The CRC will be closing on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 9:15am to move equipment inside. The CRC will reopen for regular hours on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 with the above changes in place.
The team is working hard to evaluate options to bring back a form of Kids Club in the Spring and Recreation Swim at the Aquatics Center (AC) for the Summer of 2021. We will provide additional information to you as this plan is developed. As a reminder Kids Club and Recreation Swim is a benefit to your CRC/AC membership. The Aquatics Center will continue to offer outdoor lap swim, aqua fitness, and private swim lessons.
