Spotlight On: Housing First
Did you know that domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness for women and children? According to the HUD, 24 percent of California’s homeless population identified as victims of domestic violence in 2017. CRC was awarded funding by the California Office of Emergency Services for Housing First. Housing First enables us to help domestic violence survivors quickly access safe, stable housing and receive supportive services. Learn more in this KUSI interview with our executive director, John Van Cleef, or visit our website to get more information.
