Keeping Religious Communities Safe

Come hear how to mobilize against hate to protect our religiously diverse friends and neighbors. This program will include stories from area religious leaders whose communities have confronted hateful acts, including our own Rabbi Susan Talve. Law enforcement and security experts will speak about how to respond to and report threats of hate-based violence and share how to lawfully respond to protect houses of worship.

Presented by Interfaith Partnership of Greater St. Louis and Central Reform Congregation.

John has a rich background in administration and development, including serving as Chief of Staff for Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, Donor Relations Director for The Salvation Army Midland (St. Louis), and Director of Global Philanthropy for Junior Chamber International (Chesterfield). John will lead our operations as we re-launch our search to fill the Executive Director role long-term.
In Our Midst with Dick Weiss and Sally Altman
Thursday, January 27th at 7:30pm on Zoom
Come hear Dick Weiss and Sally Altman talk about the creation of Before Ferguson, Beyond Ferguson, a non-profit racial equity storytelling project. Working with a diverse team of two dozen journalists, BFBF has produced dozens of eye- and heart-opening stories. Weiss and Altman will challenge you to think about one thing you too can do to address racial equity issues.

 CRC Religious School classes will continue on-line into February. Our intention is to resume in-person on Wednesday, February 9th and Saturday, February 12th, 2022.

Shalvah means serenity is an online group meeting twice a week around support for addictions; we have been meeting in one form or another since 1981.
