City of Chicago Building Commissioner Presents to CRCA
Judy Frydland, City of Chicago Building Commissioner, presented at CRCA's September Membership Meeting on September 10. Commissioner Frydland presented an overview on the new Chicago Building Code.

CRCA's Executive Director, Bill McHugh, spoke more in detail about roofing specific code changed in Chicago and Illinois. Have a code question? Don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected] .

September 17 - CWIR Fall Event
Join CRCA's CWIR on September 17th at La Barra in Oak Brook for their fall event! Participate in a personality analysis activity to help develop your personal brand. October 24 - Contracts, Coverage & Crafts
CRCA's Contract's & Insurance Committee is proud to introduce new event series: Contracts, Coverage & Crafts. These short, informative seminars will focus on demystifying various insurance & legal issues that your company may encounter, all while enjoying craft beers!

The format will be 20-30 min presentation with a Q & A portion. Networking will follow.
The first program will cover the contract provisions. A contract can make or break your project.

Join  Trent Cotney, CEO of Cotney Construction Law ,  for an overview of construction contracts. This seminar will focus on the give critical construction contract provisions: indemnification, scope of work, payment, damage limitations and dispute resolution.
