Model Municipal Cybersecurity Policies Now Available Through CRCOG
Thanks to the collaboration of multiple CRCOG communities, CRCOG communities now have access to Model Cybersecurity Policies. CRCOG recently completed the polices with the assistance of MGT Consulting and a team of municipal staff from the region. Part of the CRCOG Cybersecurity Initiative, municipalities also have access to a range of piggybackable cyber infrastructure services through Novus Insight. These services cover assessment, remediation, maintenance, and staff training. For more information please contact Brian Luther.

CRCOG is also happy to announce the creation of the  Municipal Data Security Committee . This committee will meet quarterly to plan for future cyber threats and to better equip the region for cyber-attacks. The first meeting will be November 7th at 10am in the CRCOG 3rd Floor Board Room. This committee will serve as the DEMHS Region 3 Cybersecurity Task Force. For more information, please contact Brian Luther via  email  or at 860-724-4282.
