State Sues SoCal Landlord for Refusing Renter Using Veteran Assistance 


In 2024, the California Civil Rights Department (CRD) got a complaint from a veteran who alleged an Inglewood apartment complex turned him away based on his use of a veteran housing voucher. As part of the lawsuit, CRD is seeking monetary damages for the veteran and changes to the property’s rental policies.
