Have you ever noticed that it can be very challenging trying to keep everything balanced in a stress-filled world? Creating balance is absolutely necessary if you want to live with a sense of peace and joy! If you feel like some of the areas of your life are out of balance, you are going to love Exercise 22: Creating Balance.

We are blessed to be able to share these Daily Mindful Sur-Thrival exercises that can help you during any challenging situation focus on the positive and live more mindfully in the present moment. Each exercise includes a powerful affirmation you can use within your mindfulness practice. Together they are designed to help you go from surviving to thriving, or Sur-Thriving as we like to call it.

Our BLESS the Mess Journal is filled with positive, inspiring, and uplifting mindfulness activities, tips, and affirmations to help you Sur-Thrive in a challenging world.

The 53 unique mindfulness exercises and related affirmations will help you embrace any uncertainty and "bless the mess" whatever that happens to be.

The mindfulness exercises are provided in four quadrants. You can focus on Abundance and Prosperity, Health and Well-being, Empowerment and Enlightenment or Raising your Consciousness.
 
Objective: Living in peace, joy, and balance.
 
1.  Get into a comfortable position. Take a deep calming breath and think of a place that feels peaceful and calm for you like a beautiful beach or a secluded space.

2.  Now ask yourself if there are any areas of your life that seem out of balance and be honest with yourself. 

3.  Gauge what you need to do to create more peace, joy, and balance in your life. How can you cultivate this sense of peace and balance each day?

4.  Think of some small things you can do this week to feel peaceful and calm and imagine yourself doing that right now. Enjoy the sense of peace you feel in the moment.
