  • The CREWNY Chapter gives an organizational donation of $1,000 or more - DONE!
  • Get 50% of your chapter’s membership to give an individual donation - We need your help to get this one!

We need fourteen (14) more people to donate to meet the goal before September 10!

Tina Huang and Anja Do, both new CREWNY members this year, have been appointed co-presidents of WiRED (Women in Real Estate Development). WiRED Club at Columbia University aims to connect, encourage and inspire female professionals in the commercial real estate space. The group promotes and organizes both on and off campus events that foster women executives in a historically male-dominated field. Events include lectures by female leaders, site tours, mentoring opportunities and social gatherings. While the group is geared toward female students, events are open to the entire M.S. Real Estate Development community so everyone can benefit from a supportive environment and knowledgeable speakers.

Check them out on Instagram and LinkedIn. Tina and Anja would also like to invite members of CREW NY to be speakers for the club. Please contact them through CREWBiz for further information.
The CREWNY CNMR Committee submitted a nomination on behalf of Viviana Addo for GlobeSt. Real Estate MultiFamily Influencers Award. Good luck to Viviana!
Nathalia Bernardo is part of the team at Kramer Levin, advising their client VICI in a $17.2 Billion acquisition of MGM Growth Properties.

Congratulations to CREWNY member Kenne Shepherd, who was recently certified as a WELL AP.

Kenne Shepherd, AIA, LEEP AP, takes great pleasure in announcing that she has recently become a WELL AP, a move that was prompted by the pandemic and the ensuing shutdown. As the pandemic wore on, she became convinced that the built environment was not only a key element in dealing with the spread of the virus, but a key element in fostering human health and well-being. The WELL Building Standard provides solid strategies to create cleaner air and water, better lighting, improved acoustics and thermal comfort, key measures to create healthier and more productive environments. Please do not hesitate to reach out to her about how your work or home environment can be made healthier, safer, and comfortable.
