Our members are the lifeblood of CREWNY and vital to the inclusion and advancement of all women in CRE. Therefore, CREWNY is launching a series of programs for 2021 specifically focused on our members: their business and professional development, inclusion and engagement in our community, continuing CRE education and training, and wellness.

These programs include:
  • CREWNY CONNECTIONS: designed to provide the tools, skills and opportunities to build better business relationships and get to know your CREWNY colleagues.
  • CREWNY CARES: focuses holistically on our members, covering various professional development, education, training and wellness topics designed to support and advance your success, and including one or more Featured Members. 
  • MEMBER MONDAYS: spotlighting different members on social media, who will also be highlighted in other ways during the month
  • CREWNY BRIDGE: creating pathways to greater inclusion

CREWNY CARES, June 22, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Our exciting June Multi-CREW Chapter program will focus on a “Market 2 Market Roundup, discussing current trends and opportunities in the markets represented, and generally. It will feature CREWNY member: Carrie Pianin, Senior Vice President, Arcturus Group, along with CREW Dallas member, Susan Ansel, CEO and President, Gables Residential; CREW Iowa member, Jackie Johansen, Principal, Shattered Glass Development; and CREW Orlando member, Jackie Bozzuto, Partner, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A.

Our May 5 CARES program covered “Effectively Leveraging Your CREW Network and Social Media Networks and featured CREWNY members Anuska Amparo, Marianne Mathieu & Melissa Slavin.
Pop-up Chats, June 25, 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Join us as this new series continues over the summer, featuring small group (16) informal gatherings of CREWNY members IN PERSON at various NYC parks and green open spaces. Registered members ONLY should meet at Bryant Park at the location on the website. 

This new series had a very successful launch on May 28 at the Central Park Model Boat Basin café, and was presented courtesy of our Platinum Level Sponsor, Fidelity National Title.

CREWNY's top priority remains the health and safety of our members. Accordingly, we ask that during attendance at this event, you comply with all COVID-19 safety guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and NYC health authorities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.

The Real New York: Viviana Addo launches global real estate investment consultancy VMCASA

VMCASA was founded in 2012 by real estate industry veteran and NYU Schack alum Viviana Addo. The former properties and finance executive has a decade of practical, global assets and investment experience to complement her scholarship on the international real estate front.

Receiving her education from the vanguard of the business, Addo holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
