On November 8, Trepp LLC is hosting a UCREW event for university students to learn “The Lifecycle of a Real Estate Project.” We are looking for volunteers to help guide students through the program and participate in open networking. The available time slots are:   8:30 AM – 10:30 AM, from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM.

CREWNY Member Named to the 2020 List of the Best Lawyers in America

Elizabeth D. Schrero , Partner, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, was named to the “2020 List of the Best Lawyers in America©" for Real Estate Litigation. 
2019 Gail Ayers Scholar Honored

Lily Zivkovic, Senior Vice President, Astor Title, was named the Gail Ayers Scholar for the 2019 Leadership Certificate program cohort at the CREW Network Convention in Orlando. This recognition honors the legacy of the program’s creator and former CREW Network CEO, Gail Ayers.
CREWNY Member Appointed Vice President of East Cooke Construction

April Intrabartola was appointed Vice President of Eastman Cooke Construction. She will be responsible for enhancing the company’s business development, strategic planning, and brand and talent management, as Eastman Cooke strives for continued growth in the industry.
Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting Award Honors CREWNY Member

Terry Pissi, CPA, Partner, Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, received Crain’s 2019 Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting Award.

JJ Falk , founder of JJ Falk Design, LLC, has joined Perkins Eastman in the global architecture and design firm’s NYC headquarters. As Principal at Perkins Eastman, she brings more than three decades of stellar experience to the firm’s workplace design team.
Convention Scholarship Winner Reports on the Event and Being a New Mother
I was back from maternity leave for two days before I boarded the plane for Convention. I’d set many goals for Convention, but my main goal was to convince myself that I can be a great mother while simultaneously being an accomplished professional. So many of the women I met generously shared their experience with being a working mom. I was feeling in good company as I found a seat at the Distinguished Leaders Roundtable panel where three highly accomplished and respected women spoke about many things, including being working moms who try to make it all work. These women spoke about struggling with mommy guilt. They talked about having it all, but not having it all at the same time. Hearing these women speak candidly about their experience was, for me, the biggest inspiration of Convention. I left with a sense of belonging and support knowing that I can succeed in my career and as a new mom!

CREW Network Has Your Back, Addressing Sexual Harassment

Wendy Mann , CEO, CREW Network, wrote a compelling blog post discussing sexual harassment. She stated "Sexual harassment is unacceptable. No member of CREW Network, our leadership or staff condones sexual harassment. Our organization works to address this issue through all our initiatives."
