President Trump made headlines last week
suggesting  hospital rates should be transparent. 

By coincidence ,
CRI Board member Stacie Beck made that recommendation
months ago in a January edition of Data Delaware!

If you recall ,
the State of Delaware spends something around a billion dollars a year on healthcare.  Plus those costs are growing at (an estimated) 7% annually.  
It’s the biggest item in the Budget. 

Clearly the situation is unsustainable …..
Stacie Beck is a University of Delaware Associate Professor of Economics.
