How This Video Game Company Will Help Keep Mars Astronauts   Healthy Forbes  | A video game company Level Ex wants to create a virtual simulation to show how human anatomy and medical procedures will differ in space as result of changes in gravity, radiation, and other factors. The simulations could help astronauts prepare for “autonomous medical management” in deep space, according to Aenor Sawyer , MD. Overlooked No More: William Byron Rumford, a Civil Rights Champion in California The New York Times | William Byron Rumford Sr. graduated from the UCSF School of Pharmacy in 1931 and opened a storefront pharmacy in Berkeley that became a gathering place for Bay Area’s growing black community. Elected to the State Assembly in 1948, he helped pass legislation banning discrimination in employment and housing, the latter known as the Rumford Act.
