Two measurement tools have been published in the Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Measurement Characteristics and Clinical Utility of the Functional Status Questionnaire Among the General Population was published in February. The authors are Angelika Kudla, BS, Rudy Chiu, MS, Stephanie Tomazin, MPH, Nnaemezie Ezeife, BS, Linda Ehrlich-Jones, PhD, RN.
Measurement Characteristics and Clinical Utility of the Movement Assessment Batter for Children – Second Addition (MABC-2) Among Children with and without Motor Impairments was published in December. The authors are Rudy Chiu, MS, Linda Ehrlich-Jones, PhD, RN. The Measurement Tools are meant to provide additional data and information on commonly-used rehabilitation measures.
(Above, left) Linda Ehrlich-Jones, PhD, RN, Associate Director, CROR, and Jenni Moore, PT, DHS, NCS, founder of the Institute for Knowledge Translation, presented “Past and Current Efforts of the Rehabilitation Measures Database,” at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in Boston on Friday, Feb. 16. The presentation went over how the RMD came to be and how it evolved into the resource it is today, with more than 550 summarized measures, as well as educational videos, webinars and infographics.
