NEWS YOU CAN USE!

OCTOBER 28, 2022 | CRUSADER CONNECTION

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:

Greetings! Time flies when you’re having fun and it is hard to believe we have completed the first quarter of the school year already. October has been an amazing month and we have so much to be grateful for. Our fall Bazaar was a huge success! Thank you to the chairs, Mrs. Van Overborg and Mrs. Becker for a wonderful community event filled with food, fellowship, and fun. It was great to see so many of you there. We had nearly 100% participation in raffle ticket sales – a huge thank you to all who participated. Thank you to our counselor, Mrs. Bonini for planning a fantastic Red Ribbon Week focused on Good Character, Good Choices. Our halls were filled with pumpkins for our pumpkin decorating contest. STREAM day was a huge success. We started our day praying the Living Rosary for the world. Our students were immersed in science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math activities throughout the day. Thank you to our STREAM Day chairs, Ms. Moon and Ms. Taylor, PTO, and all the parent volunteers for making it such a successful day.

Congratulations to our girls’ volleyball team for making it to the playoffs. They beat an undefeated team in the first set of the semi-final games. We are so proud of them! They are true examples of Crusader spirit.

Congratulations to all students who made the Honor Roll this quarter. We commend them for their hard work and are very proud of them.

As we move into November, we have many events scheduled. Be sure to check out the entire Crusader Connection for information. We are looking forward to our 3rd grade Saints presentations after mass on Wednesday, November 2. Vocations week begins on November 7th. Our Veterans’ Day celebration is on November 9. Discover Catholic Schools Week starts on November 14, and we will have open house for prospective families on Wednesday, November 16. We have our Book Character Parade on November 15th and Grandparents Day on November 18th.

Have a blessed weekend!

November Events

St. Anne Catholic School celebrates Veteran’s Day 2022!!

The students of St. Anne will be celebrating all veterans on

Wednesday, November 9th, at the school Mass at 8:30 am. We would like to honor those who have served our country and helped provide for our freedom with a Veteran’s Day Celebration.

To honor veterans and allow the students to see those who served and gave so much to our country, we will have a Veteran’s Wall of Honor display in the hall by the library. We ask that you bring your photos of those family members who have served in the armed forces. Give them to your homeroom teacher or Mrs. Ross in the library and they will be displayed on the wall. Make sure your name is taped onto the back, along with the name of the person you are honoring, and how they are related to the student (i.e. grandfather, father, mother, aunt, etc.).

November 1: All Saints Day | November 2 - Booster Club Meeting | November 7: Spirit Night at Captain Brads | November 10:   Prek/Kinder Parents Coffee with the Principal, MS Drama Play | November 15: Book Character Parade | November 16: Discover Catholic Schools Open House | November 18: Grandparents Day, Noon Dismissal, No After School Care.
