CRYA Annual Dinner December 3rd at the

Old Spaghetti Factory on Bancroft

Everyone is invited to attend!

Please plan to attend our annual dinner for a celebration of our 2024 officers and a great year of events. We will be introducing Bernie Bacon (NOTS) as the 2025 President of CRYA, along with the introduction of our new Vice President - Tracy Robinson (CRYC).

This Event is meant for all boaters to get together and discuss our jobs as boaters on how to best keep our waterways safe, and useable for all.

We will have a 3-course dinner, beverage and tip included in the cost of $35. Last year it was ranked as one of the fun things that we did for the year so please plan to attend. All are welcome.

For more information you can contact Bev Hamlik @ Bev@crya.us

You can sign up today for the dinner on our PayPal link Here

Daughters of Neptune are Looking for the 2025 Court

We are looking for girls who would like to join the Daughters of Neptune Program for 2025. You need to be between the ages of 14 to 17 while serving as a Daughter of Neptune. It can be a daughter, Granddaughter or any girl wishing to help promote Life Jacket Awareness, and Water Safety. Clubs that would like to sponsor a Daughter but don't have one can contact Alicia Robinson for details. We are also always looking for Adult Chaperones to help run the program.

If you can help, please contact Alicia at Alicia@CRYA.us.

A Message from NOTS Boating Club

Hello fellow boaters and friends of CRYA - I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to NOTS Boating Club. Since 1958, we’ve been cruising our beautiful Columbia River, bringing stories, laughter, and a friendly face to every dock. As we set our sights on the upcoming year, we’re thrilled to share an exciting lineup of cruises, each one crafted to bring our community closer and make lasting memories on the water.

Here’s a snippet of our upcoming schedule:

  • January 28th - Winter Cruise @ Port of Kalama: We don’t let the winter weather keep us off the water.

  • April 11th - Annual Shakedown Cruise @ St Helens: We’ll help you prepare for your annual Vessel Safety Check and christen any new boats in our fleet.

  • August 1st - Horse Races @ Hadley’s Landing: Place your bets on the ponies!

As a cruising club, we take pride in our love for exploring the river year-round. If you’re interested in joining us for one of these or any of our cruises in 2025, don’t hesitate to reach out. Our full schedule is now on our website.

Cheers to another unforgettable season with NOTS Boating Club!

Content in your Club's Newsletters that all Boaters should read?

We can't see every club's internal communication, but we have to think some of the articles would be great information for all boaters. If you find that article of interest, please forward it to cryanews@gmail.com after getting approval to share. We can all be more informed.
