Come join us to hear Conner Cowling from Thomson Reuters speak about what he denotes Deviant Natures – human behavior patterns and how to create competitive advantages, particularly within research and development. Connor is a senior research engineer at Thomson Reuters, an entrepreneur, and a designer who is deeply involved with research, large-scale machine learning, and automation across the software development lifecycle.

Looking for advice on how to land an internship? The Google Developer Student Club will be hosting a panel of interns from companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Capital One, American Family insurance and Northwestern Mutual. Come learn about interviews, resumes, and more. There will be plenty of time to ask questions!

Student Org: BadgerFly
BadgerFly is UW-Madison’s 1st club dedicated to drones and VTOLs, our goal is to increase awareness about drones/VTOLs and participate in drone racing and VTOL design competitions. We are planning to conduct software and hardware drone workshops, lead semester-long drone projects and provide career advice in the VTOL industry.

Transcend 2022 Innovation Competition
The competition sign-up deadline for the Transcend 2022 Innovation Competition is rapidly approaching! The Transcend Innovation Competition is the largest student-run innovation competition in the nation with over $50,000 worth of equity-free prizes. Whether you have an idea or have fleshed out a marketable product, we encourage you to compete, and be a part of one of Madison’s largest entrepreneurial communities. Sign-ups are open to UW students across all majors and are non-binding. 
 
Application Deadline:  February 28th, 11:59pm CDT
Competition Date: April 21st & 22nd
