for the Embryo Data and Registration Form.
2)
Complete the form, separating the embryo calves by flush. Effective July 1, 2019, all calves produced as a result of an embryo transplant process must have a basic parentage verification on file prior to registration. Please indicate
"Y" in the DNA REQ box for each embryo that is being registered. The CSA staff then will order the parentage kit and provide you with the required Lab Application Form and hair card. *** Note: DNA instructions on how to obtain the hair samples and where to send them will be provided along with your parentage kit.
3)
Lastly, when returning the THE Embryo Data and Registration form you must send copies of the Embryo/CETA Transplant Forms. It aids the CSA staff greatly if you write the tattoo of the resultant embryo calf beside the appropriate Recipient Dam on the form (as this easily enables the CSA registry staff to manually track the embryo activity for that particular flush).
Very Important if you are not the owner of the donor cow you must provide the required Transfer of Embryo Ownership form in order to have your calves eligible for registration.

Online User Support: Requesting Buyer Numbers from the CSA Office
Online users that have held registration papers for Online transfer, may have to periodically ask us to provide you with the buyer numbers in order to transfer the animal(s). A large number of buyers are non-members (Commercial producers) their information is not available using the Member Search option.
It is important to submit the form completely as any missing information can delay the CSA office from sending you a prompt reply. When completing the Name entry-field, please include the First and Last name. If the buyer is known by a Farm Name, please complete that entry-field as well.
Note: There is a new function in the Online system under the Tools pull-down menu. It allows you to search for previous Buyers & their associated CSA numbers. It is under -
Tools | New!! Buyer History
Note:

Therefore, if your requests are sent after 4:00 pm (MDT - Mountain Daylight Time), you will receive an email reply the following business day.
