The 2016 Fall run of the CSA genetic evaluation has been updated and the new EPDs are now online.
Note that this is an update to the last run, and does not affect the data collected from the weaning of your 2016 calves, which will be processed after the November 1st deadline.

NEW CSA ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Canadian Simmental Association is pleased to welcome Rae-Lee Erickson to their staff in the role of Administrative Assistant; with the responsibility of assisting with the administration of programming and the broad scope of services that are delivered by the CSA.
Total Herd Enrollment 2nd Installment Billing OCTOBER 1:
* Members with credit cards on file with CSA -
please note the 2nd half of your THE fees owing will be processed at the time of billing.
* Members without credit cards on file, invoices will be mailed to you detailing the 2nd installment billing. The 2nd installment billing is payable upon receipt of your invoice.
Enrolling Partnership owned Dams:
Partnership-owned dams do not print on the pre-printed Female Enrollment forms. In addition, these dams will not show up under the "My Pre-Posting Inventory - 2017" listing for our Online participants either. Please either add them to your forms or contact the CSA office Registry staff with the animal ID prior to the
December 15th deadline so they can manually enroll the partnership-owned Dam(s) under your active enrollment herd.
CSA Mail Out
This month member packages will be mailed out to all active CSA members. Included in the package is 2017 female enrollment forms for THE participants, online enrollment instructions for online Simmental.com users, and application for registration forms for non-THE (registration only) members. Please note, online Simmental.com users will not receive female enrollment forms in this package. THE participants using the online system are required to submit enrollments through the online program.
Deadline for 2017 female enrollment submission at the regular fee is December 15, 2016. If you are not a THE participant but wish to join the program, please call our office today.
Credit Card Users:
Please ensure your credit card information is current in the office. If your card expires or you change numbers, please contact the office so we can continue to process all your work with no delays. Online.Simmental.com users are required to keep a credit card on file with the CSA, or maintain a credit balance of $500 on account.
BREED IMPROVEMENT
Member Submission Deadline Dates for Genetic Evaluation
In order for data to be included in CSA Genetic Evaluations, it must be received by the CSA office by November 1st for the Spring Evaluation and by May 15th for the Fall Evaluation.
