From the PTA President...
This week is the last week of the grading period. Can you believe we are halfway through the fall semester?
I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the long weekend, despite Delta’s appearance on Friday. We hope any extended family or friends in LA are doing ok after this storm. Sadly, the official hurricane season goes all the way through November, but on a positive note, more than 80% of all hurricanes happen prior to October. It is 2020, though, so you never know....
Did you know that the first Columbus Day was celebrated in 1792, and it became a national holiday in 1937? Though the holiday has generated much controversy over the years, I am thankful for a day off of school!
If you have not picked up your spirit wear purchases, please text Sheri Harvin to arrange a time to grab them. We really appreciate your prompt pick up of these items. There are also items still for sale if you missed out or want a hoodie!
Our PTA Executive Board meets this week. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You can email me at [email protected].
