We are excited that you have signed up for our 2011 CSA! We have been hard at work
building raised beds, moving soil, planting seeds, and putting up a greenhouse. Your early contribution has helped make this possible. Thank you! |
| The purpose of our CSA is to supplement your current food consumption with fresh greens, culinary and medicinal herbs, and a variety of vegetables all organically grown at our home near downtown Reno. You will be able to use your $110 investment as a credit toward our weekly offerings. We will open the farm Saturdays from 9 am - 12 pm starting Saturday, May 21. If this is not a convenient time for you, let us know and we will work out a pick up time.
If your credit is used up before the season is over, you will still be able to come by the
farm and pay for fresh produce as you need it. You will still receive the CSA newsletters and updates.
This newsletter will come out weekly on Thursdays and will include a list of the crops we are currently harvesting plus relevant recipes and information.

We will have a special farm tour for CSA members so you can see what's growing and learn more about our farm and it's vision.

EARTH DAY 2011
Find us at the Earth Day celebration May 1st, 11am-4pm. We'll be having fun, supporting good conversation and giving nutmilk and sprouting demonstrations.
