COFFEE WITH THE PRINCIPAL

Parents/guardians: Please join us for Coffee with the Principal, Ms. Nicole Read, on Tuesday, March 31 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Cafeteria. We invite you to come learn more about the school’s academic standings and new programmatic initiatives and hear an update on our goals for improvement and progress towards success indicators. If you haven’t done so already, please RSVP so that we can plan accordingly. We hope to see you there!

HIGH SCHOOL CAASPP TESTING

Please be reminded that mandated California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) Assessments will be administered during Testing Week, Tuesday, April 14 through Friday, April 17. These assessments are a great opportunity for our school to showcase our students’ achievements. Regardless of whether or not your student is in a grade that will be participating in testing, please be advised that there is an altered bell schedule for these four days.

GET YOUR PROM TICKETS

Attention juniors and seniors: Prom 2026 will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 7-11 p.m. at Almansor Court in Alhambra. Tickets are $93 ($48 if you qualify for the Free and Reduced-Priced Lunch Program) and are on sale now through MySchoolBucks or in person at Room 200 (cash only). Ticket sales will close on Thursday, May 7. Be sure to purchase your ticket in advance, as they will not be sold at the door. 

CSARTS ACADEMY CLASSES

Build a customized summer of art with CSArts Academy! Families with children ages 5-15 can curate their very own summer arts camp with half-day and full-day course options, held on the CSArts-SGV campus. Browse the summer brochure to choose from a wide variety of exciting classes that encourage students to learn, explore, and grow their creative skills. Let us celebrate YOU! Submit your off-campus successes to be featured in State of the Art, CSArts-SGV’s special webpage spotlighting the accomplishments of our students, alumni, faculty, and staff. All accomplishments will be posted at the conclusion of the semester in which they were submitted. An email will also be sent out once accomplishments for the semester are available for viewing. HELP US SPREAD THE WORD

The CSArts-SGV application deadline for the 2026-2027 school year has been extended! Applications will continue to be accepted in select conservatories and grade levels so long as space remains available. We encourage all students who are interested in joining our creative and unique school to submit their application through our website as soon as possible. Please continue to help us spread the word as we grow our CSArts-SGV community.

Rising 9th grade academic course selection presentations have now concluded. The finalized electronic version of the 9th grade course selection form, signed by both the student and the parent/guardian, is due today, Friday, March 27.
