SAFETY UPDATES & REMINDERS | |
Drop-Off/Pick-Up Guidelines
We appreciate your support in keeping our campus and surrounding areas safe and accessible for everyone. Recently, Duarte High School teachers and staff have encountered challenges entering and exiting their east entrance – the alley between our schools – due to congestion during our morning drop-off.
To be considerate neighbors, we kindly ask that you avoid using the alley for drop-off and instead utilize our designated drop-off areas. Your cooperation will help ensure a smooth and respectful experience for both school communities.
Additionally, the Administrative Team was informed last night that some CSArts-SGV families are using business-owned parking lots near Highland Avenue and Huntington Drive to wait for their children after school. This practice has negatively impacted those businesses, and they are asking us to refrain from parking in those areas. One particular business is an occupational therapy office, who has lost accessible access to their office for students that have mobility limitations. We appreciate your support and for helping us maintain a positive relationship with our Duarte neighbors by not using these parking lots for pick-up or drop-off.
Please be reminded of the designated drop-off/pick-up locations:
- Highland Avenue Parking Lot
- Central Avenue, in front of the CSArts-SGV Administration Office/Lobby (pick-up only)
