FREE & REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM
Parents are encouraged to fill out a Free and Reduced Lunch Program (FRLP) application, if applicable, as this helps the school compile and report data that opens up additional funding streams. While all students are provided with one meal for breakfast and one meal for lunch each day, students who qualify for the FRLP are also eligible for reduced-price dance/event tickets, reduced-price yearbooks, and more. If you think your family may qualify, please apply through www.schoolcafe.com. For more information regarding FRLP, please click here.
APPLY FOR THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The annual Professional Mentorship Program pairs current juniors with professional mentors in their selected areas of interest. This program provides an invaluable opportunity for students to gain exposure to real-world career paths, get hands-on experience, and make connections with business professionals.
Juniors who are interested in participating in the Professional Mentorship Program should complete the Mentorship Program Interest Form and email the completed form to familyactionnetwork@sgv.csarts.net by next Friday, September 9.
Selected students will be matched with a CSArts-SGV Board member, alumni, current or alumni parent, or other professional from the CSArts-SGV community. Mentors will share their experiences, help explore career options, and give advice about college and/or professional development after high school. Participants will be able to “test drive” a career of interest, receive valuable information about the realities associated with a chosen profession, and benefit from the guidance of a caring adult outside the family and school structure.

SEEKING COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
CSArts-SGV is grateful to have the continued support of the Maxwell H. Gluck Foundation through the Gluck Community Service Arts Fellowship Program. Over the past four years, this funding has provided our students with the opportunity to bring free arts activities to those who have little to no access and to become more active and engaged members of the San Gabriel Valley community.
As we begin another year of this influential program, we need your help identifying community organizations that serve children, seniors, or other groups who could benefit from free arts enrichment programs brought to them by CSArts-SGV students and teachers. All referrals within the San Gabriel Valley are welcome and appreciated. Please send your recommendations and contacts to our Outreach Coordinator, Simon Harrison, at simon.harrison@sgv.csarts.net.

HEALTH & SAFETY REMINDERS
Please take the time to review our COVID-19 Information page for the most current COVID-19 policies and procedures. On this page, you can also access the COVID-19 Reporting Form in order to report a positive test, symptoms, or exposure.
Free COVID-19 rapid antigen tests are available through Heluna Health to CSArts-SGV students and staff who have symptoms that correlate with active COVID-19 or who have had a known close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual. Tests will be administered in the Health Office by one of our school nurses, and results will be recorded in Primary Health, a secure online database.
