Each year in December, the Western Women's Business Center hosts a Holiday Pop-Up Shop to spotlight WNC small businesses and their products.


Due to Hurricane Helene, this year's Pop-Up Shop is an online hub, where our team is highlighting some great WWBC clients and their offerings

INVESTOR SPOTLIGHT
 

Carolina Small Business Development Fund (CSBDF) recently received a $2 million investment from Pinnacle Financial Partners to support economic development in underserved communities by providing capital, technical assistance and policy research for small businesses throughout the state.


We are thankful for Pinnacle's generous support, and we are excited to use this investment to further help NC's entrepreneurs.

WNC Strong

In response to the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, CSBDF and the WWBC have teamed up with a number of other community organizations to start WNC Strong.

Last month, our WWBC Director Zuri Anuel was named the 2024 Outstanding Woman in Nonprofit Leadership at the Asheville Chamber WomanUp Celebration!

In October, we hosted a very successful Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration in Downtown Raleigh! We brought together community partners and small business owners for this fun celebration.
