An Organizational Update from CSD Board President Holly Priebe

Dear CSD Members -

I'm pleased to share an important organizational update: Beginning in 2026, the Coalition of Skin Diseases will partner with Woodberry Associates, a respected association management firm, to lead and support the organization. This transition reflects the CSD’s continued growth and our commitment to building a strong, sustainable future for the skin disease community.

As part of this change, Natalie Mamerow will transition to being an employee of Woodberry Associates while continuing her work on behalf of the CSD. Natalie will remain deeply engaged with the CSD’s mission, programs, and community, ensuring continuity in relationships, advocacy efforts, and member engagement.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the CSD Board of Directors, whose leadership, guidance, and thoughtful stewardship over the past several months have been instrumental in managing this transition. Their dedication has helped ensure a smooth, strategic process that keeps the needs of our community front and center.

We are confident that this partnership will strengthen the CSD’s operational capacity while preserving the values, voice, and community-driven focus that define our organization. We appreciate your continued trust and support.

With gratitude,

Holly Priebe

CSD Board President

CSD Hill Day 2026

Mark your calendar for the upcoming CSD Hill Day from Sunday, May 17, to Tuesday, May 19, 2026! We're excited to head to Washington, D.C., to advocate on behalf of the 84 million Americans with a skin disease. In addition to meeting with legislators to discuss the CSD's legislative and policy priorities, we'll have prominent speakers and advocacy training.

Please see the Hill Day social media toolkit to help spread the word and to share the excitement! Be on the lookout in the coming months for more information on how to apply, and you can read through the CSD's Hill Day 2025 Report here.

CSD Signs Coalition Letter

Last month, the CSD signed onto a coalition letter to Congress in support of the Senior Savings Protection Act (S. 2466/H.R. 6210). Led by the National Council on Aging and signed by over 100 organizations, the letter emphasizes the vital role this program plays in helping millions of older adults and people with disabilities afford Medicare through outreach and enrollment assistance.

As a reminder, please encourage your members to contact their legislators about skin disease community legislative priorities via the CSD Action Alert Platform!
