CSD Response Plan Update
A Message from Mr. Bugnacki
Today our school community delivered!
Our technology team handed out just under 1000 chromebooks to 5K-4 graders. This was an amazing feat seeing how it was just 12 days ago the devices were ordered. Incredible work in a short period of time. What made this day even more rewarding was the outpouring of support to donate food items for Family Sharing. Car after car pulled up to the bin to donate. The generosity was emotionally moving and spoke to the LARGE hearts we have to support everyone in our community. The smiles, small talk and thank yous made me proud to be a member of our community. We give not because we must, we give because it’s the right thing to do. #WeAreCSD
We have a great deal of work ahead of us as we launch our virtual learning experience, but it is days like this and moments like this that gives us the energy and provides us the reminders, that with understanding and compassion, we can accomplish anything.

Join us, if you are able, in partnering with Family Sharing for a second day in donating food pantry items tomorrow, Tuesday the 31st, from 8-10 AM in the south parking lot of CHS. Follow the signage and look for the orange cones to guide you to the drop off bins.

Latest News as of March 30
President Donald Trump said Sunday he would extend nationwide social distancing guidelines — which advise Americans to avoid groups of 10 or more and work from home, among other precautions — until April 30.  Currently WI schools are under the order of the Governor to remain closed for instructional and extracurricular activities for the duration of the public health emergency or until a subsequent order lifts this specific restriction.

The first day of virtual learning is complete and we would like to extend our appreciation to all who came side-by-side with a student today, to support, encourage and help establish a productive learning routine...and to our students for embracing the change. We also recognize this is a significant learning curve for everyone, the district included, as we (teachers, principals, support staff and district office) work together to navigate every bit of this change. With this said, thank YOU . We will continue to get feedback from parents, students and staff, and will make adjustments accordingly to ensure a fruitful virtual learning experience for all.
