Course Overviews & Primary Resources
During 2nd quarter, Alli will be reaching out to members of our teaching staff to review course overviews and primary resources for instruction. Specific communication will be shared at the time of release, but be on the lookout. This work will take all of us to review and update and will inform a 7-year cycle for curricular review. Your support and transparency will help to align our curricular reviews so that they are effective, efficient and best supported by the strongest resources.

aimswebPlus Training
Kindergarten - 3rd grade teachers will receive communication regarding the aimswebPlus training within the next week. aimswebPlus is the state-dedicated screener identified for compliance with Act 20. All 5k-3rd grade teachers will start screening students in early January. We will dedicate a portion of the November 4th professional development day for time to engage in training. More information will be provided regarding the training as well as how we will conduct screening in January.

2024 UHC Rebate
Employees electing health insurance coverage in October will see a small one-time reduction to their October 31st payroll health insurance deduction. Family deductions will be reduced by $13.19; single will be reduced by $5.85. This adjustment is due to a 2023 United Healthcare Rebate that the district received in September. The rebate must be passed on as savings to current plan members. More information on the rebate can be found in the UHC Employee Portal messages. Health insurance deductions will return to their regular amounts in November.

REMINDER: Health Insurance Form Due October 31st
If you are enrolled in the district’s health plan, please return your annual wellness exam form if you have not done so already. To receive the full contribution amount to your Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2025, please submit a completed CSD Program Physician Form by October 31, 2024. Thank you!

2025 Insurance Renewal Update
The 2025 Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance renewals will be finalized and communicated to eligible employees within the next week, along with open enrollment information. As always, if you should have questions about the open enrollment process, please feel free to reach out to Kim Zabel, Tony DeRosa, or Lisa Bublitz in the district office.

Ask Responders for a Rating in Google Forms
The new rating question type allows you to create a rating scale using icons (Hearts, stars, or thumbs up). This could be a great way to gather quick feedback from students, even our youngest learners!
