Our next dance is the 2nd Saturday, February 12th, with local dance pro Alyssa Lundgren and her partner, Rob Glover!! They will teach two afternoon workshops at Smooth Sailing Ballroom, and also teach the pre-dance lesson and DJ the dance that evening, at Ivy Creek United Methodist Church. The deadline to register for the workshops and/or dance is 12 noon on Saturday the 12th; email CSDS to sign up and provide proof of vaccination (if you haven't done so already)!
And, as Rob will be in town for the coming week, both he and Alyssa (anytime!) are available for private lessons; contact Alyssa to schedule yours!

3:00-4:00 pm: Workshop 1
West Coast Swing (Intermediate)
- 45 Minutes of instruction,15 minutes of practice music
- Musical layering for impact and dynamics. (Dancers should be familiar with WCS basics).
4:00-5:00 pm: Workshop 2
Country 2-Step (Beginner)
- 45 Minutes of instruction,15 minutes of practice music
- No two-step experience necessary! Learn the dance, polish your basics, or learn the opposite role.
COST:
- $15 for one workshop
- $25 for both workshops

Website Update!
CSDS is thrilled to announce some upcoming new features on our website .... very soon everyone will have the ability to create an online account, manage your membership (for those who elect to be CSDS members) and sign up to attend CSDS events! Special thanks to our webmaster, Kyla Miller, for all of her hard work to make the CSDS website more user-friendly and state-of-the-art! We're still working out all the kinks and will send another announcement, with links, once we're ready to roll; we look forward to using these new features for our March dance.
$5 Membership Renewal Continued
We are continuing our $5 membership renewal for the time being! Take advantage of this low fee to renew your membership (or rejoin!) and support CSDS. Even if your membership doesn't expire anytime soon, another year will simply be added to the expiration date of your current membership. To renew your membership at the newly reduced fee, please visit the CSDS website. If you have any questions regarding the status of your membership, please contact CSDS.
ISO Board of Directors
We have several vacant Director positions and per the CSDS Bylaws, Directors may be elected to fill these vacancies for the remainder of the term, by vote of the majority of Directors in office. If you are interested in filling one of these vacancies to serve on the Board, let us know so we can fill you in on the roles and responsibilities of being a Director!

Code of Conduct
CSDS has an updated Code of Conduct. All CSDS attendees are expected to be familiar with and abide by it. We will have printed copies for your review at our in-person dance events.
