Billy joined son Jacen in dancing in the Advanced level divisions at Trilogy. Lucky Followers Tammy and I got to partner with them in Strictly Swing! They also both danced in Finals in Jack & Jill. Congrats Billy and Jacen!

looks forward to seeing everyone at our annual Halloween Dance on Saturday, October 20th, at the Municipal Arts Center (the MAC). Jacen Northcutt returns to be our DJ for the evening! We will not have a lesson this month and our dance is from 8-11 pm. We will have our Costume Parade/Contest at 9 pm and yes, there will be prizes!! Don't forget about our Westie Power Hour, all WCS music, from 10-11 pm!
- $10 for CSDS Members
- $13 for Non-Members
- $5 for Students (FT w/ID), First-Time Attendees and
CSDS Members with October Birthdays
- Children Under 16 are Free! (childcare not provided)
FOOTWEAR: please wear either dance shoes or light-colored soles; whatever you wear must be non-marking.

Kristin's WCS Group Classes
Kristin's first session of classes are well under way; her next session of group classes starts Tuesday, October 30th. West Coast Swing Level 2 from 6:00-7:30 pm, and West Coast Swing Better Building Blocks from 7:30-9:00 pm. Classes are hosted by CSDS' community partner, the County of Albemarle Parks & Recreation Department (our generous hosts for
Swing Swap during the school year).

Adela is often the Table/Group Dinner Organizer for events attended by C-ville Westies (and Central VA) dancers ~ if you're planning to go to any of these or other events, let her know! And reserve your hotel room ASAP as the event hotels usually sell out well in advance; you can always cancel it later. Don't wait until you decide to go to book your room; it will be too late!
Gaia Read often organizes roadtrips from Charlottesville for the DC/MD/NoVA dances/events; contact her if you're interested in carpooling sometime.
