Southland Reactivation Act
Join us for the launch of the new law spearheaded by State Rep. Anthony DeLuca (D-Chicago Heights) and Senator Patrick Joyce (D-Essex), known as the
Southland Reactivation Act, a measure aimed at creating jobs, lowering property taxes and incentivizing commercial and industrial redevelopment in the south suburbs.
EV Readiness Program
Edith Makra is the Director of Environmental Initiatives for the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, a coalition of 275 mayors in the greater Chicago region. She will be discussing the EV Readiness Program, which will prepare communities to meet the growing demand for EVs and EV charging infrastructure.
Leadership Training Program
Tricia Kerns, Ed.D., a Governors State University lecturer specializing in Ethical Leadership and Operations Management, will be giving information on GSU's Leadership Training Program.
Mark Kramer of REmark Training, Inc. works with workforce development agencies by providing a conduit between manufacturing companies and regional high school programs. Mark will be discussing the Southworks Robotics and Engineering Program
