MAY QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Dear State Horse Council Leaders,
Do you need more funding for your Council? Do you look for grants to support your programs and operations? Are you interested in learning how to find, pursue, and secure grant opportunities?
We hope you’ll join us for the Q2 CSHC meeting on Monday, June 22nd, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., held during the AHC National Issues Forum. During our meeting session, Dr. Sarah Diamond of Diamond Grants & Consulting, LLC will be presenting practical, horse‑industry‑focused grant‑writing strategies. Everyone who attends should walk away with useful, actionable insights.
We want to hear from you. Please RSVP to director@kansashorsecouncil.com to let us know your availability to attend the Q2 CSHC at the National Issues Forum, June 21–24. If you have any questions about the conference, our CSHC meeting, or anything else, feel free to ask. This once‑a‑year, in‑person gathering consistently produces meaningful conversations and lasting connections that strengthen our councils nationwide.
Even if you are not planning to attend, I would appreciate hearing from you—your reasons and feedback help us better understand how to support you and your Council.
Please reply by email to Julie Broadway at American Horse Council, jbroadway@horsecouncil.org, or Justine Staten, CSHC chairperson, director@kansashorsecouncil.com.
