Vic Sorrell
Sorrell has served the Nashville community as Coordinator of GLBTQI HIV Prevention Education at Nashville CARES and currently as a HIV community educator/recruiter with the Vanderbilt University Medical Center HIV Vaccine Trials Program. He is a graduate of Belmont University. Sorrell has also combined his talents from his previous career, releasing a 2012 CD, “Forever Changed,” which stylistically combines the sounds of Country, Soul, Gospel and Rock and is a mirror of the wide scope of Sorrell’s experience as an openly-gay, inspirational singer/songwriter.

Community Connection
The Board of Trustees and the Marketing and Communications team has scheduled a Town Hall like gathering called “Community Connection” for Wednesday, December 9th to discuss the changes that have taken place in our center since our visioning process and the meetings with Rev. Cath de Palma. A brief review of the changes will be followed by an open forum for questions, comments, suggestions and discussion. This gathering will be held instead of the Soul Refresh on from 6:30-8pm. Zoom details will be in a future newsletter. We look forward to seeing everyone on Zoom!

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT WORKSHOP
Spiritual Mind Treatment is the cornerstone spiritual practice of Centers for Spiritual Living. This will be an interactive, fun workshop where you will leave feeling comfortable with doing SMTs for yourself and others!
Workshop will be taught by David Arnholter via Zoom online

The service will take the place of the regular "Soul Recharge" Wednesday Service.

Christmas Eve Service
A very special Christmas Eve service is in the works. More on this soon. It is being planned for 6:00 PM online and in-person for a limited number. It will feature Music, and a talk by Rosemary Cathcart. We hope you will join us for this memorable service.

On Sunday December 27th we will have a special healing service to leave behind the trials and tribulations from this past year. Rev. Ray Wiggins will be our guest speaker and will lead us in a special White Stone Ceremony.

Prosperity Re-boot - A course in 3 sessions. January 7, 12 and 14th. by Rev. Laura Landress, Classes will be 90 minutes with a break in the middle.

Materials: Participants will need to buy or have a copy of "The Science of Successful Living" by Raymond Charles Barker. They may find this locally or on Amazon, new and used. It's available for Kindle and Audible. There will be some worksheet materials emailed to signed up participants before the first class and reading will be required before the first class and the other two classes as well.

Take a deep breath and say with me:
There is only one Energy, one Creative Intelligence, one power for Good, the power of Love, and that power is all there is. It is everywhere present. It is in me, in you and in everyone. You and I are one with each other and one with this universe, one in love, joy, peace, health, abundance and love. Nobody is favored, nobody is condemned. All are equally loved. I am given the gift to choose and trust this energy, proclaiming and accepting my oneness with it or rejecting it and living in fear, in distrust, being judgmental, unloving and angry with the world and everyone in it, including myself. I am grateful for the gift of choice. So I choose right here and right now, to go within, listen to the voice of love within me, and allow its energy to heal me of everything that is unlike the power of love. I let go of all fear, disease, hate, guilt, and unforgiveness. I proclaim and accept my oneness with God and Love and am willing to act accordingly. I know I have the strength and energy to do this. I am whole, complete and perfect, a beautiful loving and beloved child of the Most High. With great gratitude I release this treatment unto the Law of Mind in action and know it is done. I let it be so and so it is.

We’ve already seen events and activities developed by the CSLN Teams. Many thanks to the Team leaders and members.
David Arnholter is to be congratulated for successfully organizing these Teams. The underlying structure that David used consists of mission statements (visions) and goals. Mission statement being what is desired to be accomplished and goals being the steps to accomplish that vision. This tool comes from a national environmental organization where it has been used successfully long term.
If you have an idea or a vision for something that you would like to see happen at our Center be sure to reach out to Karen McLaughlin (karen@qbcomm.com) or Marietta Carter (marietta.L.carter@gmail.com), Co-Chairs of Team Council, who will direct you to the appropriate Team. If one doesn’t exist, they can assist you in creating a new Team.
