CSM PARENTS!!
Welcome to the month of June, well mid way through! I am so sorry this is coming to you so late. With that being said, there are lots of awesome things that are happening around CSM. We have had a great kick off to our summer schedule with Mondays in Motion, House Church and Bible and Biscotti. We have already seen God bringing the group closer together and closer to Him. We can't wait for our upcoming trips to see how God will move in bigger ways.

JUNE TEACHING SCHEDULE |
During the month of June we are going through our series, "#SorryNotSorry". This series is all about discussing how we can be Christians in a society and culture that is increasingly living against the ways of God. There was a time when our faith and culture were almost seamless but we have seen today that they are radically different.
To give us a good example of how to engage our culture while living distinct from the culture we will look at the lives of Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah (Shadrach, Meshach and Adebnego). In the book of Daniel we see how they stood up for their faith and engaged the culture around them. We hope this will encourage and challenge your teens to live our their faith in bold ways. Below is the teaching schedule.
MORNINGS
(Sundays from 11am-Noon)
5 - Be Genuine (Romans 12:9-21)
12 - Be Grounded (Daniel 3:14-18, 2 Timothy 3:14-17)
19 - Be Firm (Daniel 1:8-16, 1 Corinthians 16:13, Proverbs 29:25)
26 - Be Real (Daniel 6:3-13, Galatians 1:10-12)

Breakaway is right around the corner! In less than two weeks we head to Lake Williamson for 5 days of total craziness and hearing from God through some wonderful speakers! We know that you have a lot of questions of what is coming up. Here are a couple of answers for you.
We will meet up at church at 1:29pm on Friday, June 25 and arriving back at 3:00pm on Wednesday, June 29.

And before I forget, everyone is on the Yellow team at Camp! We are the Yellow Knights! Be sure to have your teen pack tons of yellow everything! Yellow shirts, sabers, armor, duct tape, tutus, face paint, floaties, you name it! Get creative so we can be sure to get some serious spirit points!

HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP |
Our High School Mission Trip is coming up
July 24-31st. We will head to Sisseton, SD with 30 students and 6 adults. It is going to be an awesome opportunity for our teens to see God moving at the camp we will be working at and to be a light to the people of the area. The final cost for the trip is
$125 per student. You can bring the payment into the Rafters on Sunday morning or the church office throughout the week.
We have one remaining meeting scheduled for July 10th from 1-3pm. We will hand out packing lists and other last minute details then. Also, on July 23rd we will have a packing party where we will pack the church trailer with everyone's suitcases. That way when we head out early on Sunday morning (July 24th) we won't have to pack anything but people! Make sure your teen lets me know if they won't be able to make the last meeting.

July 11-15 is Concord Church's annual VBS! If you haven't been here for a VBS, you should because it is totally awesome! We will have hundreds of kids on campus learning and hearing the Gospel, many for the first time. Because there are so many kids in attendance, we have a great need for our teens to serve at VBS. SUMMER PROGRAMS

Mondays in Motion is a chance for our students to get out and have a lot of fun while getting to know one another. These take place most often at church from 10am-Noon. See dates below.

Bible and Biscotti is a chance for our students to dig deep into God's word. During the summer we will focus on a book of the Bible and study in depth at each of our meetings. These take place in the Rafters from 10:30am-Noon. See dates below.
June 16, 23, July 7, 21, August 4, 11

House Church is a chance for our students to meet in one another's homes. We will share a meal together, sing songs of praise and hear from God's Word. These take place at various homes from 6-9pm. Locations will be listed on concordstudents.com, our facebook group and our instagram feed. See dates below.

Well that is all for this month! Thank you for your patience in everything! I am excited to see how God uses this summer to build relationships among our students and leaders. I am also excited to see how our students can live out Ephesians 5; "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." We hope that during this summer your teens will make the most of their time by diving into God's Word more than they have.
