  • For the CSO Application Materials Boot Camp, please visit the CSO Boot Camp page and watch the following short videos: How to Prepare a Legal Resume, How to Prepare a Cover Letter, and How to Prepare References and Letters of Recommendation. Review the embedded resources for these topics and for tips on preparing a writing sample. Complete this affirmation by Friday, October 10.

Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program (various locations)

  • The Presidential Management Fellows Program is a two-year training and leadership development program at a United States government agency, administered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. Applicants are judged on a variety of factors that do NOT include GPA or class rank. After completing the program, agencies may convert PMFs to permanent federal civilian employees.

Additionally, there are affinity group bar associations, and the CSO will pay for your membership fees (though many are free for law students). These are excellent groups where you can begin networking. Here are a few examples:
