The Burlington office collected a $175,732.28 payment from an inheritance payout in November last year. The entire payment went to the payee in an interstate case with Illinois.
The payee’s Illinois caseworker said, “She had to work multiple jobs because she had no help and [the children] are now grown and doing well.”
The payee cried tears of joy when she received the news over the phone. Her Illinois worker passed along this message: “No words can express the gratitude for all of the assistance [you] have extended to [me].”
