Men's Group this Sunday!

This coming Sunday at 9:15 AM the Men's Group will be hosting Robin Raphael and Alan Gellin who will be talking about their recent trip through the Northwest Passage.

They will be speaking about and showing photographs and videos from their month-long cruise through the Northwest Passage.  The trip was unique because they learned about the efforts of explorers to discover the Northwest Passage for hundreds of years, as well as the experiences of the indigenous people who have lived in the area’s arctic conditions for thousands of years. Robin and Al visited historical sites and local communities, and enjoyed the breathtaking views and wildlife of the region.

Robin and Al are long-time members of Congregation Shir Shalom, Robin is a retired school psychologist from the Sweet Home School District and Al is a retired Communication Specialist from the University at Buffalo’s Graduate School of Education.  Robin and Al are world travelers, including visits to all seven continents with a special interest in polar adventures. 

The meeting is this Sunday, November 24, at 9:15 AM.

Both men and women are welcome!

Our famous Bagels and Lox breakfast will be served!

The meeting will be in the Ganainu room, next to the open area.
