RECOGNITION AND PUBLICATIONS

Sina Fazelpour, Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Computer Science, has been named an inaugural Schmidt Futures AI2050 Early Career Fellow, recognizing individuals pursuing bold and multidisciplinary research in artificial intelligence. Professor Fazelpour will be developing a framework for integrating functional and ethical values into human-AI teams, in ways that leverage the diverse and complementary capabilities of AI tools and human experts.

In partnership with UN Science-Policy-Business Forum, the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs School presents the launch of the podcast, Transformers: Trailblazing Paths for Empowerment and Climate Action in a Changing World. The podcast features interviews with global leaders in who are developing innovative solutions to global problems. In the first episode, Maria Ivanova, Director of the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and Professor of Public Policy, represents academia in a conversation with governments and business.
