Join the Center for International Affairs and World Cultures for a workshop with International Studies Quarterly Editor Sam Bell, moderated by Risa Kitagawa, Associate Professor of Political Science and International Affairs, for an inside look at the academic publishing process. Bell will share practical advice on preparing manuscripts, navigating peer review, and building a successful publication strategy.

Alex Edelman was named Best Newcomer at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe for his show "Millennial." In 2024, he was named to the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Security and Resilience Speaker Series: Katherine Flanigan

Would you like to learn and practice how to use systems modeling to collectively tackle complex problems? Join Moira

Zellner, Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs; Director of Participatory Modeling and Data Science; and Co-Director of NULab for Digital Humanities and Computational Social Science, for a session showing an illustration of Participatory Modeling around a case in stormwater planning, and then practice collaborative model building for decision-making.

Zinaida Miller, Professor of Law and International Affairs, published "Temporary Measures" in the London Review of Books.
