This year’s theme, “CS Powers AI Innovation,” highlights how foundational computer science skills are essential for understanding and shaping the future of artificial intelligence. As AI rapidly transforms our
world, it’s more important than ever to equip students with computational thinking and problem-solving skills so they can lead in AI development and create impactful solutions for the future.
So this year, to celebrate CS Ed Week, schools around the country will be doing an “Hour of AI” in place of an Hour of Code to help students and educators everywhere take their first steps in understanding and creating with AI.
Let us know how you’re celebrating CS Ed Week! Post your activities, photos, and stories in the CSTA WA Discussion group and join the conversation with educators across the state.
