Central State University, in partnership with Ohio State University, and A&B Porteus Farms, has been awarded a $5 million grant over five years from the USDA's Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities Project. Dr. Folck is a co-project director, along with Dr. Ibrahim Katampe, and Dr. Robert Korir, all of Central State University.

Dr. Manjit Misra (top), director of the USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), was the keynote speaker at the 10th anniversary celebration of Central State University's designation as an 1890 Land-Grant institution.
