Kinesiology students from PDC presented their research posters at the 2023 Southwest American College of Sports Medicine Conference in Costa Mesa, CA.

Three representatives from the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus Nursing Street Medicine Program presented at the American Psychiatric Nurses Association 37th Annual Conference in Orlando, FL. "Teaching Empathy to Nursing Students Through a Foot Soak Program for People Experiencing Homelessness" was presented by Dr. Diane Vines, program director, Sarah Harrington, lead nursing student assistant and Geoffrey Cui, graduate student and research assistant.

Socktober Sock Drive

CSUSB Palm Desert Campus students, faculty and staff collected 140 pairs of new and packaged socks to benefit the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to help make this a warmer winter for our neighbors in need.

Faculty Spotlight


Associate Professor of Kinesiology, Sarah L. Dunn, along with fellow colleagues and alumni, presented a symposium at the 2023 Southwest American College of Sports Medicine Conference in Costa Mesa, CA titled, "Pedagogies and Teaching Practices in the Exercise Science Classroom: An Exploration in Sense of Belonging, Involvement, and Co-Curricular Activities."

A unique opportunity for students interested in attending the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus to meet and engage with current PDC students, faculty and staff to truly experience what it's like to be a Coyote at PDC.


Attendees will gain insights into the CSUSB admissions process, explore financial aid options, learn more about academic colleges, attend sessions hosted by specific programs and campus departments, and have access to a computer lab to submit the CSU application.


We can't wait to welcome all of the attendees to our beautiful campus and help them on their journey to becoming part of the PDC Pack!
