Dear David,
It was James Madison, the "Chief Architect of the Constitution" and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, who, speaking 161 times at the Constitutional Convention (more than any other Founder except Gouverneur Morris), recognized both the 'Biblical foundation of American government and our God given right not to be coerced to believe otherwise, but that is precisely what godless secularists in America have been doing for decades and continue to do now.
With the publication of the Humanist Manifesto in 1932; the wrongly decided 1947 Supreme Court Decision in Everson vs. School Board; the Warren Court (1953-69) decisions removing the Bible, the Ten Commandments, and prayer from our government schools; the religion of secular humanism has been embraced by the unbelieving Left and continuously imposed on all Americans. The result is an unmitigated moral, educational, governmental, economic, and cultural disaster for America, leaving us divided and vulnerable to the ambitions of misguided leaders in America and evil leaders around the world.
The current President, his Vice President, Cabinet, appointees, and ideologically driven advisors, as well as Party members, complicit media, and tenured college and university professors, are not, a "well instructed people."
They neither know our history, the Judeo-Christian foundation of our values, nor the difference between a Republic and a Democracy.
Worse, they are Biblical illiterates driven by their refusal to consider eternal truth.
Unfortunately, after decades of being misled by godless secularists through government controlled public education; entertainment; secular media; deceptive and ideologically driven politicians; well over half of all Americans are not "well instructed people," a matter of great concern for the coming General Election and the nation's future.
Not surprisingly, it was Madison who said...
"A popular government without popular information, or the means of acquiring it,
is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy, or perhaps both."

" . . . a well instructed people alone can be
permanently a free people."
